A Stylish Filipino Dining Experience at Bench Cafe

"Eat, Drink, and Be Cozy."
I recently visited the newly opened branch of Bench Cafe in Robinsons Manila wherein me and some of my media, lifestyle and food bloggers are invited.
They introduce different dishes and highlight their BENCH | TO wherein it is a complete meal in a price of one and pretty affordable too.
So for now, let me share with you the food I tried and my thoughts about it:
* Pinoy Caprese
This is quite new to me.
Imagine a watermelon with cheese on it is kind of a fusion right?
I think this is perfect who are on a diet.
* Street Food Platter
This is the typical street food you can find anywhere though I find the squid ball texture on my mouth different from the usual I have tried.
* Tinapa Cones
I am so fancy about this presentation.
An appetizer in a cone makes it very appetizing which has the right amount of tinapa taste.
* Bangus Ala Pobre BENCH | TO
I love the fact that this boneless and the marinate blends well.
* Tortang Talong
This is the dish which I think I had fun most because first I love eggplant and I love how they cooked it in perfection.
* Bagnet Kare Kare BENCH | TO
Kare Kare is one of my favorite Filipino dishes and this one with Bagnet makes me happy.
The meat is tender and crispy on the outside and the peanut butter sauce is legit.
* Sinigang sa Mangga at Guyabano Belly
I love that they create this with a fusion of fruits such as Mango and Guyabano and that just makes it sourness so legit.
* Crispy Pata
When I saw the serving of this, I am like wow.
It is super crispy that makes you want it more.
Something worth paying for.
* Beef Pares BENCH | TO
Well, not a fan of anything with rice but this one looks okay to me.
I tried a bit of it and found it normal and the seasoning is kinda overtaking the meat inside.
* Dancing Fish Escabeche
I love the presentation of this and it look so crispy.
I never tried it with this sauce but it is worth a try.
* Beef Lengua Pastel
I will be honest that I don't eat anything from Lamb, Sheep and any part that of meat that I feel weird like Lengua but as you can see, the presentation looks so appetizing so I give it a try.
The weird thing is that it doesn't taste any difference with regular meat and it is tender.
* Sago Gulaman
I love this drink and I can say that they make it in perfection.
The sweetness and the gulaman are just right.
* Bench Ube Halo-Halo
So far, this is my favorite, not only because I love Halo Halo but I love the idea of the crushed iced like Korean dessert for it.
This is a must-try in this place.
Here are the things I loved about this branch:
✔️ Instagrammable place and ambiance
✔️ Cheerful and Attentive Staff
✔️ Filipino food with a twist such as salted egg chicken and shaved halo halo and a lot more
✔️ My faves are the Tortang Talong, Bagnet Kare Kare, and Ube Halo-Halo
✔️ Affordable when dining with family as they have the Family Style Menu
✔️ They offer alcoholic drinks too
So what are you waiting for? Don’t miss a chance and fall in line tomorrow and try out their sumptuous dishes! ❤️ @saansaph #saansaph@welovetoeatph #welovetoeatph#SSPHxWLTEPH
