Is Hummus a Healthy Snack?

"Words cannot express HUMMUS I love you."
I live in the sandpit for a long time and I must say that I miss the authentic hummus there. And since I love snacking, I always prefer to go for healthy options.
Do you think hummus is a healthy option for a snack?
Hummus is typically made by blending chickpeas (garbanzo beans), tahini (ground sesame seeds), olive oil, lemon juice, and garlic in a food processor.
So for today, I would love to share with you some of its benefits:
✔️ Super nutritious and packed with plant-based protein - this makes as an excellent choice for people who are vegetarian or in a vegan diet.
Consuming protein is very beneficial to our health especially for those who are health-buff.
✔️ Rich with ingredients proven to fight inflammation - it has healthy ingredients that may help combat chronic inflammation.
Just like the olive oil which is rich in powerful antioxidants that have anti-inflammatory benefits.
✔️ High in fiber promoting digestive health is food for probiotics - thanks to its high fiber content, hummus can help keep you regular.
Also, dietary fiber helps feed the healthy bacteria that live in your gut.
✔️ Has a low glycemic index helping control blood sugar levels - hummus is made from chickpeas, which have a low glycemic index.
It actually is a scale that measures the ability of doods to raise blood sugar.
✔️ It contains heart-healthy ingredients that may reduce heart disease risk - it has a great source of heart-healthy fats from olive oil.
✔️ Promotes weight-loss - based on a national survey, people who regularly consumed chickpeas or hummus were 53% less likely to be obese.
Hummus has several properties that can help promote weight loss.
✔️ Great for those who have Intolerances - hummus is naturally gluten, nut, and dairy free so it just means that everyone can enjoy it anytime.
✔️ A great addition to your diet plan - hummus is nutritious and tasty so it's a great add on to your diet.
It can be eaten alone, can be a dip with pita bread or pita chips.
