Why You Should Try Filipino Food?

"One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well."
We have tried the Filipino Restaurant called Kuya J.
The location is just beside the main road which is U.N Avenue.
The facade is easily seen and when we reached the location, there are only two tables occupying the place so we freely choose our seats and table.
The place looks new and I love the design of it.
The staff is not that smiling and quite busy all the time.
So we ordered the salo salo means which consist of crispy pata, pansit, pinakbet, chicken halang halang, buttered clamshell, and iced tea.
I think the price is quite pricey for only 4 persons though the food is enough but can still accommodate a 5th person.
I love their crispy pata which name suggests that it is actually crispy though not hot when served.
The pansit is okay though quite saucy and the noodles seem cooked for long because it's soggy,
It's my first time trying out the chicken halang halang and I loved it especially the chicken is tender.
The pinakbet is my favorite though it's a bit oily though I'm liking the taste.
The buttered clam shell tastes ok though only a few in pieces.
The iced tea is only good for 3 people.

We inquired about their salo salo and some of it is not available so we felt bad they don't have any alternative for a missing dish for that.
Overall, I might or not visit Kuya J in 6 months time.
My verdict is that Filipino food is always a good choice because we have a wide variety of food and dishes to choose from.
So I encourage everyone to try it at least once in your life!
