3 Biggest Challenges I Struggle with as a Blogger

"You are allowed to be both masterpiece and a work in progress simultaneously."
First things first.
Let's just acknowledge the fact that I am not the only one who struggles with blogging.
In fact, most of the known bloggers or business owners are having a hard time when it comes to time, consistency, and a lot more challenges when it comes to blogging.
The blogging experience is a very rewarding reward, but just like every great thing it also hides difficulties and obstacles.
However, these challenges shouldn't scare you away, but instead, strengthen your blogging voice and authority.
So for today's post, I would like to share with you the 3 biggest challenges I encounter and struggle with as a blogger:
SCHEDULING OF THE POST
Do you struggle with blogging consistently?
I know, I do.
You know you have what it takes to publish great content.
You just don't do it consistently.
You feel like you are on top of the world when you bang out one amazing blog post but is one amazing blog post is enough?
If you disappear for an extended period of time after publishing once, you run the risk of losing your audience.
Staying consistent is especially hard when you're just starting out - after all, you haven't gotten into a rhythm yet, or you might not be producing much.
I've been blogging since 2013 but I'll be honest with you that when I started blogging, I just produce one blog post in a week.
Due to my passion, I make a system and commit myself to at least 2-3 blog post in a week.
I usually draft a blog post over the weekend that is already good for a week and automatically published with my preferred schedule.
I schedule my blog post every other day so it will give my audience a chance to read my blog and revisit it for one more day upon publishing.
This system doesn't work for everybody and it depends on your niche and time availability.
BLOG TRAFFIC
Once you are writing regular content, it's time to get out there and promote it.
Many bloggers make the mistake of trying to be on every social media platform.
This leads to frustration, time-wasting, and burnout.
By focusing only on the platforms where both you and your audience like to hang out, like per se in my experience, my audience is usually on Instagram.
That's why every time I published a new blog post, I always make sure to share it there, but of course not limited only to that.
I even reach out to my Facebook friends and my followers on my Facebook page.
In this way, I am giving myself a chance to really get to know the platforms, and more likely that my audience will actually see my posts.
I make sure to go to the social media platforms that I consider worth investing my time in.
Then after knowing where my audience hangs out, I get out there and promote my blog post.
Many bloggers think that they will be "bothering people" if they share their posts multiple times.
That's not just the reality.
Most people are not going to see your post the first time you share it.
Also, they will miss out on reading your content if you don't share it more than once.
There's no shortcut to getting blog traffic and you have to be patient and consistent, and you have to work really hard.
MONETIZATION
I will be honest with you that my blog doesn't make me much money and I know many people with less traffic than I have make several thousands of dollars every month.
This battle is a real battle and I'm sorry to say, many people will die in the midst of it and only a select few will be able to survive - those who will survive will only survive because of two things, either because they got things right or because of their strong passion for their blog.
The truth is, it is not too late, changes can still be made.
I'm also a victim of this situation, but because of my love and passion for my blog, I just got tired of trying to monetize.
I don't seem to care right now if I gain money with blogging, but I'm not actually closing my doors for sponsorship and collaboration.
Right now, I am accepting paid product reviews, paid events, banner advertisement and sponsorship.
But that doesn't mean I can do full time blogging because, for me, it's not realistic.
What I am doing is that I don't sacrifice my reader's experience on my blog with annoying ads and biased reviews.
I just go with the flow and content that I am able to share my passion with my readers.
