Wright Park + Questions Invite

Wright Park is located in the eastern part of the city and fronting the gate of the Mansion, is one of the many scenic parks in Baguio City.
Its main attraction is the shallow elongated rectangular body of water known as the 'Pool of Pines' and the park circle is one end of the park.
You can find tall pine trees and decorative street lights both sides of the access road beside the pool.
If you lucky enough, you will find at the park some Igorots or locals dresses in their native attire and regalia who are willing to pose for a photograph with a fee usually they charge from P20-P50 or $1 in a dollar.
Native handicrafts are also sold at the Mansion end of the park by a few Igorot peddlers.
From the park circle is a walkway which leads to a wide stairway made of stone that descends to an area where ponies are rented out.
Riding a pony is one of my favorite especially on this kind of warm weather which I think most of the children and as well adults enjoyed so much.
When you have an accompanying guide during the horse riding session, it can be taken farther out along South Drive, the Mines View Park area or to Outlook Drive.
Just make sure that you and your guide first agree with the hourly cost to be charged to avoid conflict.
If you are a bit active, you can opt to take a walk, jog or run within the area.
The place is usually crowded during sunny weekends and on holidays just like the time we visit it.
It is February when the Panagbenga Festival is held.
