Happy Hump Day!
If you are following me on INSTAGRAM you'll see my #travelventure at Ilocos Norte few months ago.
Here is just a continuation of my adventure and this time, in the beautiful place called Bangui Windmills.
Bangui is a fourth class municipality in the province of Ilocos Norte, Philippines.
The first power generating windmill farm in Southeast Asia, commonly known as Bangui Wind Farm, is found in the municipality of Bangui.
The windmills are considered as Southeast Asia’s biggest wind turbines.
Each wind turbine has the capacity to generate electricity up to a maximum of 1.65 Megawatts for a total of 24.75 Megawatts.
Bangui is well known, because of its Bangui Windmills. It is also the town's main attraction. But until 2013, Burgos and Caparispisan (Pagudpud) Windmills are built, yet many visitors still visit Bangui Windmills. Bangui Bay is also a beautiful tourist spot, yet not practical for swimming because of its deepness and water currents, but it is beautiful to view. It is also good for its beautiful view of mountains and rivers. (c)
Everyone is welcome to see and go near the windmills so as to closely appreciate the beauty of the wind turbines and the Pagudpud beach.
As per my experience, it is incredible and it's something that I will never forget.
The place is breathtaking and I feel that nature is just within my reach.
You can see the mountains nearby and the ocean is just as blue as the sky.
What can I ask for more!
Though there is so much wind and I find it hard to take shot of myself that time. haha.
The sand is so fine and dark too.
I don't recommend my outfit during this trip because the strong wind makes me feel that the sand are whipping my skin.
There is a prickly feeling but it's fine, you can get used to it afterwards.
So don't wear skimpy clothes and short shorts during this trip.
Just few reminders!
And one more thing, don't forget to grab souvenirs too.
I hope you love my #travelventure.
Thanks for reading.
Have a great day.
